Using EBT at the Grants Pass Growers Market
The Grants Pass Growers Market proudly accepts EBT cards! To use your benefits, visit the Market Information Booth. When you run your EBT card for any amount available on your account, you’ll receive blue scrip—market tokens in $2.00 increments that can be spent with any fresh food vendor at the market. Please note that blue scrip cannot be used for hot, prepared foods, and no change is given. It's just like shopping with your EBT card at the grocery store.
Double Up Food Bucks & Protein Bucks – More Healthy Food for You!
This year, we’re excited to offer two additional programs to help you stretch your food dollars:
  • Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB): Sponsored by the Oregon Farmers Market Association, this program matches your EBT purchases dollar-for-dollar—up to $20 per Saturday—with DUFB tokens. These can be used exclusively on fresh fruits, vegetables, and vegetable plant starts.
  • Protein Bucks: Thanks to the generous support of AllCare Health, you’ll also receive $10 in Protein Bucks when you use your EBT card. These can be used for meat and eggs from participating vendors.
Here’s how it works:
  • Run your EBT card at the Information Booth.
  • For every dollar you withdraw (up to $20), you receive:
    • An equal amount in DUFB ($20 max)
    • $10 in Protein Bucks
  • That’s up to $50 in total buying power per Saturday!
Program Reminders:
  • Blue scrip never expires and can be used on any eligible fresh food.
  • Double Up Food Bucks and Protein Bucks are only valid through Saturday, December 20, 2025.
  • You may only redeem matching funds once per Saturday.
These programs help you bring home more fresh fruits, vegetables, and proteins—supporting a healthy lifestyle while making the most of your EBT benefits.
Questions? Visit the Market Information Booth any Saturday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM—we’re happy to help!
