Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sell at Growers’ Market?

All products must be grown, cooked, or made by the seller in the following counties:  Josephine, Jackson, Douglas, and Curry Counties in Oregon as well as Del Norte and Siskiyou Counties in California.  All non-agriculture items must be juried by the Board of Directors.  Non-agriculture products are evaluated at a meeting in February and admitted to the Growers’ Market in April.  For further information contact us.

Does the Growers’ Market have an animal policy?

American Disabilities Act (ADA) service animals are welcome.  All service animals must be below the table display height. All other pets are prohibited.  Full details are available at the Market Information Booth.  An ADA flier describing qualified "service dogs" may be found here.  Please leave pets at home.

How do I use my Oregon Trail benefits?

Bring you Oregon Trail Card to the Market Information Booth.  Your card will be swiped through the EBT machine and you will be given scrip (blue) for use in the Market.  Not every vendor can accept the scrip.  The same rules for approved and prohibited products apply at the Growers’ Market that apply in the grocery store.

I bought more than I can carry, what now?

We have Growers Market tote bags for sale and we provide carry out services.  Ask at the Market Information Booth or speak to any Growers Market staff member.

Can I solicit in the Growers’ Market?

NO, soliciting is prohibited at the Market.

For more information or assistance please come to the Growers’ Market Information Booth.
