Our Pet Policy: For the safety and comfort of all our visitors, vendors, and their products, the Growers Market has a NO PETS policy. While we love animals, only trained service dogs as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted at the market.
Please note:

• Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and pets in training do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
• Service dogs are individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability—these tasks can be life-saving or essential to their handler's independence.

We understand that many dog owners enjoy bringing their pets along while out and about. As dog lovers ourselves, we’ve tried to accommodate this in the past—but unfortunately, it led to unsafe situations including dog fights and disruptions. To protect everyone, we now strictly enforce a Service Dogs Only policy.
Please take a moment to read the official ADA guidelines and help us keep the market a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is not only against our policy—it’s also illegal and could result in prosecution.
Both customers and businesses share a responsibility:

• Businesses must accommodate legitimate service animals.
• Individuals with service animals should be prepared to explain their dog’s trained role if asked in a respectful and lawful way.
